An exceptional price on a very nice target load from Nobel Sport, who knows a thing or two about ammunition – they’ve been doing it for a very long time. Part of the brand heritage goes all the way back to Alfred Nobel, who invented dynamite and was a munitions manufacturer, before he was the benefactor of the Nobel peace prize and associated endeavors. Nobel Sport is part of the MAXAM group and they offer one of the highest production volumes collectively in their subsidiary companies than most other manufacturers. They hold multi-million-dollar munitions contracts with the U.S. Federal Government and affiliated allies. Their reputation is pristine.
The round featured here is a target load made with lead shot and delivering 1200 feet per second out of the barrel, with a 1 ounce load and a #8 shot construction. The 2 ¾” shell and the associated load is about as plain a target round as you can conceive of and will perform well out of any shotgun for shorting purposes, including semi-autos. The shell could be used for closer range small game animals and birds as well as clays and other sport shooting. The value is exceptional for this 250 round case lot.
