500 Rounds of 5.56×45 Ammo by IMI – 55gr FMJ M193

Israel isn’t hoarding all of their NATO spec 5.56×45 ammunition. They’re sharing it with the likes of us! This is the same ammo the IDF is issued for field use with the IWI Tavor TAR-21 rifle. It’s also not military surplus. It is hot off the presses!

The M193 cartridge is loaded with a 55 grain full metal jacket projectile by design. The bullet’s 3,215 fps muzzle velocity will generate ample chamber pressure to fully cycle any semi-automatic, and it also provides that clean, flat trajectory which satisfying target practice demands. The FMJ’s copper-alloy jacket surrounds a solid lead core, thus making it entirely nonmagnetic.

IMI hasn’t loaded a corrosive primer in decades. These range loads’ noncorrosive Boxer primers won’t rust up your rifle if you only clean it normally. Some people wonder whether military grade brass cases have been reloaded, seeing as how their necks and shoulders aren’t shiny. Worry not! That’s just the byproduct of the annealing process. It’s totally cosmetic.
